Thank goodness for snoballs, ice cream, and air conditioning. I love New Orleans, but I always forget about the heat by the time summer rolls around again. I’ve added an extra fan in the kitchen to try to keep me a bit cooler. If you work outside, I sure hope you have a way to beat the heat. Stay cool if you can.

I figure now is as good a time as any to remind you that I have some delicious ice cream and that I serve Apple Pie a la Mode and Root Beer and Coke Floats. These are great anytime, but I feel they’re best around 2 or 3 in the afternoon when the sun is its’ peak and the asphalt is sticking to your shoes.
