Oh my, it’s the end of July and I sure hope those kiddies are finishing up their summer reading. While summer is going quickly, I think we’d all agree that we are done with this heat. These summer afternoons turn into great evenings to sit on the porch in a comfy chair, and watch the sun go down. I like to do that at the end of a long day cooking.
I had an interesting conversation with an out–of–town couple recently. They said they have a good friend named Dot and saw my sign and stopped on in, ’cause they figured the food must be great.
I was delighted to hear their story and we had a great talk about why I serve breakfast all day. It’s a simple reason actually, I like eating breakfast foods when I’m hungry for them, so why not let you do the same. I never understood those not–really–fast food places that won’t let you order eggs after 10:30 AM.
