Wow… time is just sailing by! I do love summer, but July is one HOT month if you live in South Louisiana. Sometimes it seems like there just aren’t enough ways to stay cool this time of year.

For those of you with a sweet tooth, July 17 is Peach Ice Cream Day, July 20 is National Ice Cream Soda Day, and July 23 is Vanilla Ice Cream Day. Or you could just celebrate all the ice cream with National Ice Cream Day on July 21! National Daiquiri Day is July 19, and we do those well in New Orleans. Also worth noting, the air conditioner was invented on July 17, 1902, and, I don’t know about y’all, but I am certainly thankful for that creation!
