This is a great time of year in New Orleans because it’s not too cold anymore and usually not too hot either. Wow, I sound like Goldilocks now. French Quarter Fest packed the quarter a week ago, Easter was yesterday, and next week we’ll all flock to the Fairgrounds for our annual dose of jazz, gospel, and amazing food. I’ve had a lot of people request that I have a food booth at Jazz Fest, but I’ll never be able to stay in the booth…I like to dance too much.

Just because Lent is over, it doesn’t mean we’re going to stop eating seafood – this is New Orleans after all. You can use your new $10 Dot Dollars to get some yummy seafood any day of the week or how about some breakfast? No worries about getting here before 10:30 in the morning just to eat a great breakfast. We serve up the entire menu 24 hours days, so come in at 3am or 3pm, and I’ll fix you up some pancakes or a seafood omelet with my favorite Crawfish Julie sauce.
