Hey baby,

“This is Dot and this is my place, Dots Diner”. Well, that’s a catchphrase I use in all of my radio commercials. I also say, “I’m not your Mama, but you’re always at home at Dots Diner.” Oh, I miss those days of seeing you, your kiddies, and the extended family at the Diner. I’m hoping things return to close to the new normal real soon and we can all get back to doin’ what we like to do, when we like to do it.

So, I’ve got good news and bad news. The bad news is that two of my four diners are closed right now, Luling and River Ridge, just waiting for this terrible virus to pass us by. The good is that two of my stores, Kenner, (2239 Williams Blvd – Phone: 504-441-5600) and the one near Ochsner (2317 Jefferson Hwy – Phone: 504-831-3681) are open daily from 7:00AM – 1:00PM in case you get a case of the Dots food blues. You can order on Door Dash, Uber Eats or call us and pick up. The other good news is that I have started walking each day. The first day was to the donut shop, but I’ve been doing better lately.

To tell you the truth, I would trade all the walks (and donuts) for a chance to cook for you again. I want you to stay safe, stay healthy and stay 6′ apart. God Bless you and your family and I can’t wait to see you all again at the Diners.
