| This fall weather is amazing. Have you been outside more lately? I sure have. First I went to the Gretna Heritage Festival, next the Seafood Festival, and then I did a little tailgating (you know I’m an avid football fan). I also made a few trips to the dog parks. I just love seeing those pups run around together and I think they love that cool weather as much as I do. That bead dog statue at Lafreniere is great!
I know it’s not Thanksgiving yet (or even Halloween), but before the turkey arrives, another important day marks the calendar – Veterans Day. If you remember last year, we did a DVD drive for veterans in our state’s VA hospitals. Well, we collected 462 DVDs in just a couple of weeks. That was a great total, but I’d still like to surpass it this year. So, hopefully you have another closet to clean out.
