Boys in Black & Gold

DOT
I know it has been a little while since I’ve written and you know how I like to keep a schedule. It’s just been one thing after another. First off, as you obviously know, Mr. Isaac came through here a few weeks ago (although I don’t know who invited him). What touched me was the outpouring of support and love immediately following Isaac’s departure. One by one, my incredible team helped open up our six locations as power was restored and you all just poured in. Y’all missed me (and the A/C) so much and I truly appreciate seeing your smiling faces. You’ve kept me so busy that I had to delay my email a bit. Like many others, we’re all back in business and this Dot is back on schedule.

Even though I couldn’t sit down and write out this email, I did stay in touch via Facebook and Twitter. As I posted each store opening and the new hours, many of you checked in with me to tell me how you were doing. I’m so glad almost all of my sweet customers are okay. I do have a heavy heart for those who got water in their houses including our friends in Laplace.

Besides staying in touch throughout the week, I regularly send out “Dotisms” (pearls of wisdom, from my perspective) and lots of goodies. Make sure you Like Dots Diner on Facebook and Follow Dots Diner on Twitter to stay in the loop and get all of these goodies. Also, share them with your family and your friends. They’ll thank you for it, especially your mother – you know how I feel about moms.
– Dot

PS – I’m so glad it’s fall with the cooler air and the boys in Black & Gold back in action. I am crossing my fingers–Really miss you, Sean.
