So, An Alligator Walks into Dots Diner

GATOR Oh wow, you’ll never guess what our guys caught in Luling the other day. Josh and Brad captured a 4’ alligator in the front yard of our store on Hwy. 90. Josh held him down while Brad taped his mouth – all are safe and each of them still has 10 fingers. No, we didn’t put him on the menu; we put him back in the canal. That ol’ gator better stay away or I’m learning how to deep fry ’em. That was sure a surprise early in the morning for us. I’m glad we have our own Swamp People at Dots Diner.
Now that my blood pressure is back down, let’s talk food. I don’t know if it is because Lent is over or what, but I’ve been cooking up a lot of our bacon, ham, cheddar & onion omelets lately and all hours of the day too. You know me, it’s a big ol’ omelet with hash browns and a biscuit and it’s only $7.49 regardless if its for breakfast or dinner. Take a look at that yummy picture a customer took at our Jefferson store on Jefferson Hwy near the Huey P. Long Bridge. (Don’t forget they’re opening up the new lanes on the bridge really soon.) Love ya,
